Fútbol, soccer, football. It goes by many names across different cultures, but is better known globally as ‘The Beautiful Game.’ Here in Argentina, it is undisputed as the nation’s favorite sport and beloved pastime. Yet, here it’s considered more than just a sport; it’s a way of life.
Buenos Aires Fútbol Amigos, or FC BAFA as it is commonly known, is a diverse group of both guys and girls who all find themselves in Buenos Aires with the common passion for fútbol, friendship, socializing and new cultures.
Hour-long, 5-a-side games are organized throughout the week and playing levels vary from beginner to seasoned-pro. Games are usually competitive but always good-natured.
BAFA’s focus is on promoting an active lifestyle through weekly fútbol matches and tournaments and maintaining a positive and ‘buena onda’ vibe within the fútbol club and community.
